Vanja Benazić a.k.a. Ben Valley is a house and progressive house DJ and record producer. Vanja initially started playing guitar and piano as he has always been a fan of electronic music, therefore he started mixing from his high school days.
Inspired by figures such as Axwell, Fedde Le Grand, John Dalbah, and D.O.N.S. , Vanja began producing his own music. He released his first record on Vidisco signing his first contract in 2010 by teaming up with Mario Kovačić a.k.a. Mario Amarillo, Aquarius resident DJ in Zrće. Releasing together a project called D.R.A.M.A. , they produced several records on Vidisco, Exklusive Records, Kontor, 1980 records and many more.
In 2011 he took part in a remix contest organized by The Shapeshifters with a release of the winning remix as the prize, on Defected records. His remix came out on top him to the winning but The Shapeshifters renenged on their promise and failed to publish it.
In the last three years he's shared the stage with famous figures such as Deniz Koyu, Tiesto, Erik Morillo, Axwell, Chuckie, Thomas Gold, Alesso, Fedde Le Grand, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Norman Doray, Arno Cost, The Freemasons, Patrik La Funk, Eddie Toneich. Papaya Events was founded by the passionate and visionary Ben Valley in 2019, with the goal of bringing electronic music to the forefront of Umag’s vibrant music scene.
